Saving money for a raining day is a norm going on for years and this is a great addition to that quote. With Tesla ( yes the electric automotive company) Powerwall backup unit it’s a step in the right direction and reachable to residential and small businesses. Connecting to the solar panel or power grid would have energy backed up in case the power goes out, during the peak time once you’ve reach that gap and use the energy stored during evening time.
At a price range of $3000 for 7 kWh for daily application and $3500 for 10kWh for backup application is a great price value to start. As consumers were going to be skeptics at first if the price is worth what their offering us but I believe we should give them a chance to see where this goes.
