One thing I notice amongst people I meet who are feeling unhappy, anxious, stressed, unclear, angry, or any other negative emotion, is that they are all lacking the same thing: A sense of Stillness.
Many of us from the time we wake up in the morning until the moment we fall asleep are being run by our lower self, ego, or what the Buddhists call our “monkey minds.” When this part of us is in charge, we are consumed by many negative and/or limiting thoughts about ourselves and our lives, our emotions are constantly up and down, and our choices are made from a place of confusion and fear rather than from a place of clarity and empowerment.
